Day 5 - Rest Day in Barcelos

We really took it easy on our rest day and just lazed around. Since it was Sunday Ian got his fill of churches too. We went to a morning service at the large and ancient looking parish church. We found the service quite modern compared to the cathedral in Porto. 

Then we had coffee and pastries in an outdoor cafe. That night we went to a blessing of the pilgrims at the local Franciscan church. 

Tomorrow will be a long day as we have at least 20 miles to cover!
